Steven Jaffe is a retired Chartered Accountant. As well as his role as trustee of the Foundation, he is also treasurer of an advocacy charity, provides advice on his local Citizens Advice Bureau and is a Governor of a local independent girls’ school and Chair of Governors of its international school in South East Asia.


Jenny Hirsch is now retired. She had an interesting and varied working life. She worked as an agent in the entertainment industry and then in retail, as a buyer, for a chain of menswear accessory shops. She is a potter and silk painter, teaching both until 2013.  She was trained by an Advocacy charity and carried out voluntary work for them as an advocate.


Robert Wallis is a “portfolio worker “and has a multidisciplinary background. He is a chartered accountant and ran a successful retail family company for 20 years, starting as the first franchisee before Tie Rack went public. He has experience in property investment and portfolio management. Robert is an associate of the London School of Music, a postgraduate from the London School of Speech and Drama and has a diploma from the London Contemporary School of Music. He has a diploma in counselling  in Psychosynthesis and spends his spare time painting and writing music and is dedicated to the arts.
